We marked our calendars on a fall Sunday in October, as we joined with members and friends to celebrate the new life of our church. Marking the first anniversary of the consolidation, The Reverend Jim Antal, Minister and President of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ, was present to commission us. The Reverend Wendy Vander Hardt, Area Minister of the Metropolitan Boston Association, as well as members of the Belmont Interfaith Religious Council, all participating in the service and festivities. This was a time to renew our covenant to God, the church, our denomination, and with one another. We are alive in God’s Spirit of love and service! Alleluia!
